What AI Can't Replace: A Team Day on Fruška Gora

Last weekend our team spent a day together on the slopes of Fruška Gora — hiking through the woods, visiting monasteries that have stood there for centuries, and eating considerably better than we do on an average Tuesday.

For a company that works remotely most of the time, a day like this isn’t a perk. It’s the part that doesn’t happen by itself.

The conversation nobody scheduled

Most of the day turned into one long, wandering conversation about AI, about the tools that have changed how we work over the past two years, and about where our industry is heading.

Which was rather the point.

AI is changing how we work faster than anything has before. And still — the ideas worth keeping didn’t arrive in a meeting or a chat channel. They arrived on a trail, over a shared meal, somewhere between one monastery and the next.

That isn’t nostalgia. It’s the same thing we say to clients: the tools have moved quickly, but judgment, context and trust are still built between people who know each other. A day on a mountain turns out to be a reasonable way to keep building them.

Grateful for the chance to learn, think and build alongside a team like this one.
