Spring.me was among the largest social networks in the United States, carrying tens of millions of users on infrastructure that had become too expensive to run.

The work ran in two streams at once: a rebrand of the front end, and a full refactor of the back end. Both had to land without interrupting a live network — the release happened overnight.
